The Library's Course Reserves Service allows instructors to set aside books, films, or other material for class use. Instructors may also make articles or book excerpts electronically available through Blackboard.

Books and Print Material

These materials cannot be taken out of the library and are due before the library closes. To request an item from the library be put on reserve or to drop off an item which you own and would like to use for reserves, please contact This email address is being protected from spambots. Notes:

  • Both scanned images (PDF) from articles and book excerpts delivered directly to your interlibrary loan account.
  • We will strive for a 24 – 48 hours turnaround time with the exception of holidays and summer hours. Please keep in mind that this process could take 2 – 3 days during busy times.This service is available Monday through Friday, during regular office hours.

Please bring personal items to be scanned to ROOM G 23 – Interlibrary loan office. For items owned by the libraries, please submit your request via your interlibrary loan account limit one request per transaction.  It is easier to deliver one pdf at one time.

  2. The number of students in the course (for our usage statistics)
